Shinjuku Gyoen
Shinjuku Gyoen is a magnificent 144-acre park that showcases three distinct garden styles: traditional Japanese, English landscape, and French formal. Once an imperial garden, it's now one of Tokyo's most peaceful retreats.
What to Expect
The park features over 1,000 cherry trees of different varieties, extending the blooming season from February to late April. The traditional Japanese garden includes tea houses and carefully manicured landscapes, while the English garden offers wide lawns perfect for picnics.
